Here is the poster for my chemistry experiment in relation to the trout project:
In this reflection, I will be talking about how well I take notes, how I can be more organized, and how well I keep track of assignments. In terms of taking notes, I believe I can take notes very well as shown through my lab notebook which I have been taking chemistry notes in the entire semester. All of the notes from specific heat, compounds, bonds, reactions, and moles can be found in my lab note book. They are usually pretty organized as I would keep certain information grouped together to create less of a hassle when returning to find that information. I also showed my note taking skills on the study guides for the chemistry final. I put all of the extremely necessary information in the places that they were needed so I could help myself during the final. One big way I can stay organized is by making all of the papers in my lab notebook stay organized. Some are sticking out of my notebook, while others are falling out so keeping that in an orderly fashion would help me a lot more. I'm pretty good at keeping track of my assignments and I usually keep track of them by keeping them organized in my backpack, checking edmodo, asking the teacher, and looking at powerschool.
Picture of Page From Lab Notebook
I believe this page shows how I organize my work and my notes very well. As you` can see, each equation has enough space for all of the components, including the charges of each atom and the name of it. Writing my work like this really helps me understand what I wrote in an easier way. This is just one example of what I have been consistently doing throughout my lab notebook.
